How A 20-Year-Old Became Appleton’s Pizza King

Our Story

Over the Years

1976

Founded

In 1976, Dean Sosnoski opened his first Pizza King – originally named Deli-King. He was only 20-years-old.

As people in the Fox Valley fell in love with his thin-crust pizza, he changed his name to Pizza King, only selling Take & Bake pizzas.

As Dean’s family grew, so did his business. In 1987, Dean opened his second location at Calumet St

Reading Pizza King’s online reviews, it’s obvious why Dean and Paula’s son, Adam, opened a fourth location in 2009 in Greenville.
